A Brief History of 20th Century Theatre

This short series of plays are built on radio commercials and sound effects answering the important question, how would major 20th century playwrights sell soap? Soap-selling playwrights include Eugene O'Neill, Lillian Hellman, Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, Harold Pinter and David Mamet. This set concludes with a sound effect extravaganza within an abbreviated version of Thornton Wilder's, Our Town.



About Eric Coble



Eric Coble is an award winning playwright whose plays have been produced in all fifty states. His, "Velocity of Autumn" opened on Broadway in 2014. Eric Coble is currently a member of the Cleveland Play House Playwrights unit.
